Provinces of Tajikistan.

Tajikistan is divided into one autonomous province (Tajik: Вилояти мухтор, viloyati mukhtor), 2 provinces (Tajikвилоятҳоviloyatho, sing. Tajik: вилоят, viloyat) and the Districts of Republican Subordination. Additionally, Dushanbe, the capital city, is independent of viloyat-level administrative divisions.
