This year’s spring is continuing to surprise. Abundant snowfalls observed in the whole of the Central Asian region are unusual for the second half of March. Tajikistan saw such a spring snowfall before, but even the elders couldn’t remember such a snowfall ever happening in the second half of March. Precipitation unprecedented for this time of the year covered the flatland districts of the county within a few hours. Even local weather forecasters consider it to be an abnormal phenomenon.
